Hastings Borough Council was awarded three Green Flags in 2009, for
- Alexandra Park
- Country Park
- St Leonard's Gardens
Alexandra Park: Quadron is very pleased that Alexandra Park continues to add to its many accolades and has retained its green flag and green heritage site status for the fifth year running.
St Leonard's Gardens: perhaps even more pleasing, however, is the first time award of a green flag and green heritage site status for St Leonard's Gardens. The Gardens are Grade II listed in recognition of their national historic importance and have recently been renovated. The planting scheme is designed for year round colour with a mixture of herbaceous plants, shrubs, bulbs and trees clustered around the ornamental pond in the centre. Wildlife abounds and maintenance plans are sympathetic to this.
Hastings Country Park: Also in Hastings is the SSSI and SAC listed Country Park with over 267 hectares of ancient woodland, heathland and grassland spread along 3 miles of dramatic coastline, where Quadron is responsible for much of the mowing and footpath maintenance.
