Ward End Management Plan - compliment from Birmingham City Council

Nicola Little, Quadron's Horticultural Development Manager for the Birmingham contracts pulled out all the stops to submit the management plan for Ward End Park on time

Nicola received the following letter of thanks from Birmingham City Council's Head of Parks (Operations), Darren Share:

Dear Nicola

Re: Ward End Park Management Plan

I just want to put on record my thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into creating the Ward End Management Plan as a part of this year's Green Flag Award submission for the City.

I am aware, from those involved, that despite a very busy workload and very tight timescales you were able to pull together a very comprehensive document that not only will allow us to apply for the Green Flag Award this year, but also sets clear direction and targets for improvements at Ward End Park over the next five years.

I know that you and your colleagues in Quadron will be fully involved in the Green Flag process at a local level in preparing the park and working with the local Parks officers, Friends Group, and local community, to achieve this national award.

May I thank you on behalf of the City for your help and commitment.

yours sincerely

Darren Share
