At the beginning of 2009, Quadron gardeners created a garden in a small patch of land in the grounds of Clifford and Falkland House, one of the Hammersmith & Fulham Homes sites maintained by Quadron.
The residents now use part of the area to grow their own vegetables. This has generated an interest in gardening, particularly amongst the youngsters.
As an added bonus, these low income families are now able to eat the fruits of their labours, with an abundant crop of courgettes, ripening tomatoes and eagerly awaited potato digging to follow.
