The Conference was held at the Francis Peek Building at Dulwich Park and attended by the various friends of groups from across the London Borough of Southwark as well as Des Waters (Head of Public Realm LBS), Rebecca Towers (Parks Manager LBS), Henry Thompson (Service Development Manager - Parks and Open Spaces LBS) together with the QSL management team and the Head Gardeners of Southwark, Dulwich and Peckham Rye Parks.
The event was used as a forum for the friends of groups to discuss their achievements during the past year as well as their plans for the year ahead.
This provided an excellent opportunity for Quadron's head gardeners to meet with all of the friends groups to discuss some of the exciting projects that are in the pipeline for the year ahead as well as sharing their expertise and knowledge, establishing closer links with park user groups and forging relationships to continue the excellent work being carried out by so many of the friends groups to continuously develop and enhance the fantastic green spaces that there are within the Borough of Southwark.
