Spaldings have been reliably supplying Quadron with grounds maintenance equipment, protective clothing, tools and spares since 1994. They were kind enough to offer their facilities at the Saltex 2009 exhibition for Quadron's Health & Safety Award presentation.
All Quadron Services' Management Team, including Supervisors, are embarking on a comprehensive training programme under the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). The CIEH is an awarding body for workplace qualifications in health and safety and environmental protection.
During the recent Saltex Show a number of Quadron's Managers and Supervisors were presented with their certificates by Managing Director Clive Ivil for successfully attaining their level two qualification. During the presentation, Clive Ivil said, "Quadron is fully committed to improving the Health & Safety of our business at all levels and strongly believes that broadening the skills of its people will provide a solid culture for sustainable improvement. Achieving this level of success would not have been possible without the support of our dedicated Health & Safety Manager, Steve Plumley."
Steve responded by saying, "Training requires commitment and drive and these awards allow individuals to get the recognition they deserve."
The presentation ceremony was kindly hosted by Spaldings, and Catherine Locking, Spaldings' Groundcare Sales Director, commented, "I am very proud to see Quadron"s commitment to training and the importance that they are placing on the safety and welfare of their staff. Well done to all of you."
Quadron was very grateful to Spaldings for their support and use of their facilities on this occasion. We look forward to many more years of a productive mutually beneficial relationship.
