In February 2011 Quadron were awarded the planting and maintenance contract by P. Philips & Sons Paving Ltd for the improvements to the Shepton Mallet Cenotaph, organised by Shepton Mallet Town Council and the Friends of the Cenotaph organisation.
Contract Manager Wayne Frapple said: "The Cenotaph is located at the junction of Grave Road and Station Road at Townsend, Shepton Mallet. It is a fine memorial monument to the Great War, of traditional design reflecting that of the Cenotaph in Whitehall, and it has been a privilege for Quadron to be involved with the soft landscaping within the enhancement project."

Since completion, the landscaping scheme has received several items of news coverage in the local press with local residents and councillors complimenting the quality of the work. Town Councillor Chris Inchley, Chairman of the Cenotaph Enhancement Working Group said "Lots of people have said it looks really good - which is very pleasing considering all the hard work that has been put into it. We hope many people will enjoy it for many years to come."
