Quadron was pleased to welcome a team from the Eco.Fit scheme to Holland Park in May 2011.
Groundwork London is working in partnership with The London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to provide an eight month programme of free outdoor leisure activities. The Eco.Fit programme aims to engage with a variety of people across the Borough, especially those with physical and learning disabilities, mental health issues and older people.
Activities have included a guided walk and tree trail around Holland Park, and fruit and vegetable picking at an organic farm. Quadron gave participants the opportunity to get their hands dirty when the group assisted with stripping the spring bedding in the park's Dutch Garden.

The Eco.Fit Team worked hard stripping out the old Spring bedding plants to prepare for the new Summer bedding.
Moira Herring, Groundworks CommunityProjects Officer commented, "The participants really enjoyed being in such a public garden space and being involved with something meaningful that was part of a wider project."
