After many years of dwindling local business involvement Quadron Contract Manager Mark Garthwaite volunteered the services of four of Quadron's vehicles to be used as floats for the 'Grand Parade' down New Malden High Street as the finale to the annual Malden Fortnight.
Last year's parade saw no floats whatsoever due to local businesses not being able to support the event, but a chance discussion with the event organisers in January led to Quadron saving the day.
Quadron seasonal employee Stephen Milne driving the 'Robin Hood' Float won best in show and we hope to continue our support in 2012. A big thank you to the other Quadron drivers Richard Phillips, Carl Martin and Nick Stent.
Jenny Hunt parade organiser wrote in to thank Quadron expressing her thanks particularly to the four Quadron drivers who "were nice and helpful".
