Quadron Services

Quadron was delighted to rewin its contract with Wokingham for a new five year term which commenced in April 2011, having previoulsy held the South area since 2004 and North area since 2006. The two have now been combined into one contract for the whole borough. Quadron provides an all encompassing grounds maintenance service including grass and sports pitch maintenance; flower, shrub and rose bed maintenance.

There are approximately 238 hectares of parks and open spaces which include local parks, 35 outdoor sports pitches, tennis courts and all weather facility at Cantley Park along with 4 pavilions, 18.1 hectares of highway grass verges, 21 sponsorship sites, leisure centre grounds, property sites, school grounds, housing sites, library sites, Social Services sites, Youth and Community sites, car park sites, several local cemeteries and over 95 play areas within the borough.

The residential areas, parks and highway verges are cut 8 times a year but where such frequent cutting is unnecessary or the growth of wildflowers is being encouraged, the grass is cut in cycles on a bi-annual basis.
