An apprentice success story in the London Borough of Southwark is that of 18-year-old Sam from Walworth.
Sam said, "At school I did work experience with a gardener and loved it. After GCSEs I went to a small college called Roots and Shoots, who helped me find this placement.
The Quadron standard for the apprenticeship is two years but I successfully completed it in 1 year and I now have a fulltime position. Ultimately I'd like to be a head gardener."
