Quadron was very pleased to win the contract with Bristol City Council to manage its parks and grounds maintenance for the South area.
The scope of the contract includes the maintenance of all types of grass, shrub, flower and rose beds, sports pitches and pavilions and waterfeatures. There are also several staffed parks, and one of Quadron's aims during the contract term will be to increase the number of parks with Green Flag status, commencing with Victoria Park.
Quadron is looking forward to developing relationships with the various interested parties and Friends Of groups to work with the community to meet their aspirations for their service.
One of our first objectives will be to bring areas on the contract that are significantly below standard up to specification by deploying focussed hit squads to specific areas. This will be achieved working in partnership with Bristol Parks department to assist the Council in delivering the objectives of its Parks and Green Spaces strategy.
A joint Annual Service Development Plan, with regular reviews, will ensure that progress is both measurable and kept on track.
