Digger & Dawn gain accolades for Manor Park

"Their ceaseless work is what makes the place what it is"

Quadron's Contract Manager in Kingston upon Thames, Mark Garthwaite was very pleased to receive the following letter about his staff in Manor Park.

Dear Mr Garthwaite
I am writing personally to you to thank your team for all the hard work that has been carried out at Manor Park and in particular around the Shiraz Mirza Hall. The whole place looked particularly superb today for the visit of the two Mayors. One or two of our guests asked me how we managed to keep it all so clean and tidy - they thought that we at the hall did it. Well, I told them, all of this work is done by Digger and Dawn from Quadron. And that is what happens at Manor Park. People visiting the hall don't realise that their ceaseless work is what makes the place what it is.

And it wasn't just that they made a special effort today, the area is always excellently kept. If anything has been reported to Digger in the last year he's been there straight away - and it gets put right. Another thing which people congratulate the hall on is that there's never any litter around. It's that sort of attention to detail which shows and it does make a huge difference. Thanks to all of you at Quadron who make this park as good as it is.

During the summer a couple of friends were playing in one of your cricket matches and they were really appreciative of the pitch which they said was better that their club in Kent. Now, that's some praise because clubs are seldom generous about other pitches. I don't know who from your group prepares them, but they clearly are doing a good job."
